本輯英文標題「Show-Stoppers」，是指因為表現特別精采而被掌聲打斷的表演，二十三首精選自七部著名音樂劇的歌曲，包括百老匯、倫敦、電影版的原始演唱卡司，歌者都是1950、1960年代的大腕，像是李察‧波頓（鳳宮劫美錄）、茱莉‧安德魯絲（窈窕淑女）、Gordon MacRae（奧克拉荷馬）、Rita Moreno（西城故事）等，選錄的又都是他們最擅長與受到好評的劇碼，當然好戲連連。Alto的重製音效尚稱佳，將這些音樂劇黃金年代的風采完全綻放。
